Discovering End-User Perspectives

This section summarises end-user insights from the Trento and Zaragoza demo sites, focusing on demographics, energy-saving behaviours, and expected engagement with the InCUBE project, before the start of renovation works.

In Trento, respondents mainly include middle-aged office workers and local visitors, with a balanced gender distribution. Most participants report being familiar with energy-saving practices and already applying them. However, many express a clear interest in learning more and highlight the need for better communication and engagement throughout the renovation process.

IIn Zaragoza, respondents represent a more diverse population, including elderly residents, students, and families, with a majority of female participants. Nearly half report some familiarity with energy-saving practices, with cost savings emerging as the main motivation for adoption. Respondents also show strong interest in further learning and indicate a preference for in-person updates, suggesting the importance of direct engagement.

Across both sites, the data indicates varying levels of awareness and engagement, but a consistent need for clearer and more tailored communication to support participation in renovation activities.
