The Gender Impact Matrix
The Gender Impact Matrix (GIM) is a participatory tool designed within the InCUBE project to explore and analyse gender-related perceptions within the energy and construction sectors.
The Gender Impact Matrix here comprises eight dimensions, representing the key barriers to gender mainstreaming: (1) access to education, (2) access to the job market, (3) access to training, (4) nature of work, (5) health and safety, (6) work-life balance, (7) workplace environment, and (8) pay gap.
Data has been collected through two investigations:
- First investigation: aims to explore the gender-related barriers faced by the InCUBE consortium in the sector.
- Second investigation: aims to assess how InCUBE technologies can contribute to improving inclusion of women in the sector.
